Having learned how to survive and thrive in high energy, high-stress environments, Angela supports professionals to balance being committed without being consumed, burned-out and disengaged.

Through her own experience as a former Senior Communications Advisor to several Victoria Government ministers as well as to a number of Canadian diplomats, Angela has the lived experience of how a professional’s personal wellbeing distinctly impacts competence, overall wellbeing and a company’s bottom line.

With mindfulness practices at its foundation, Angela created the Wellness Warrior Resilience Program. Mindful Meditation is a practice that can enhance cognitive reframing (and thus resilience) by aiding one’s ability to be aware of thoughts and emotions without becoming attached and overwhelmed.

Angela’s programs draw on the mindfulness practices of Eastern philosophies, which she has studied for more than three decades. And, having had the practice of yoga in her life for more than 40 years, Angela is also a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, as recognised by Yoga Australia.

With an easy-going manner, Angela shares simple yet profound mindfulness philosophies and practices in ways that are relatable and relevant to each individual. She shares more than 30 years of experience with these practices through public as well as one-on-one sessions, retreats and corporate wellness programs – all of which are personally enlightening, informative and most of all, enjoyable.

Overview: Intended to help those in the legal profession flourish personally as well as professionally, the Wellness Warrior Resilience Program© supports professionals to increase their resilience to life’s inevitable difficult times so that they may be able to offer their best, sustainable selves to their clients and colleagues.

The foundation of the Wellness Warrior Resilience Program© is the practice of mindful meditation, which is one recognised means of addressing lawyer distress and wellbeing. Mindful meditation can enhance a host of competencies related to professional effectiveness, including increased focus and concentration, working memory, critical cognitive skills, reduced burnout, and ethical and rational decision-making.

Participants of the Wellness Warrior Resilience Program© can expect to gain awareness around resilience and some of the building blocks that can increase it. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their own current level of resilience and receive a framework to develop their own ready-to-action resilience strategy. And finally, participants will be guided through meditation so that they may return to their day feeling calm and focused.
